Materials Recovery Facility (FARZ)

FARZ is Imdaad’s state-of-the-art Materials Recovery Facility. Launched in 2020, it plays a key role in the UAE's sustainability goals by processing and recovering valuable materials from waste.

Materials Recovery Facility (FARZ)

Waste Recovery for a Sustainable Future

FARZ operates a fully automated facility with the capacity to process up to 1,200 tonnes of municipal solid waste daily. Utilizing cutting-edge technologies, including magnetic, optical, and ballistic separators, FARZ segregates and recovers materials such as HDPE, PET, aluminum, ferrous metals, OCC, and wood. The facility's operations contribute to a significant reduction in landfill waste and CO₂ emissions, aligning with Dubai’s objective to recycle and reuse 75% of waste currently going to landfills.
